Title. The List
We worked with Campbelltown Arts Centre to design the catalogue to commemorate their Spring 2014 exhibition 'The List', a group show acknowledging the youth and social issues of Campbelltown through collaborations between its young residents and a collection of local and international artists. These artists were Shaun Gladwell, Marvin Gaye Chetwynd, Tom Polo, Kate Blackmore, Abdul Abdullah & Abdul Rahman Abdullah, Zanny Begg, Michaela Gleave, Uji Handoko Eko Saputro, Robin Hungerford, Pilar Mata Dupont, Daniel McKewen and George Tillianakis.
Our interpretation of 'The List' resulted in a 64pp softcover catalogue mixing stocks with naive typography, glossy installation images and a belly-band featuring a hidden internal works list. The design featured scattered titles, big page numbers and clean texts, twisting inspiration from the functional systems of educational textbooks and reference libraries.
